उद्धव ठाकरे गुट (Uddhav Thackeray Faction) को एक बड़ा झटका देते हुए, भारतीय चुनाव आयोग (Election Commission of India) ने शुक्रवार को आदेश दिया कि ‘शिवसेना’ (Shivsena) का नाम और पार्टी का प्रतीक ‘धनुष और तीर’ एकनाथ शिंदे गुट (Eknath Fraction) के पास ही रहेगा. चुनाव आयोग ने ये गौर किया कि शिवसेना का वर्तमान संविधान अलोकतांत्रिक है. आयोग ने कहा, बिना किसी चुनाव के पदाधिकारियों के रूप में एक मंडली के लोगों को अलोकतांत्रिक रूप से नियुक्त करने के चलते यह बिगड़ गया है.In a major blow to the Uddhav Thackeray faction, the Election Commission of India on Friday ordered that the name 'Shiv Sena' and the party's symbol 'bow and arrow' be removed from the Eknath Shinde faction.
